Participants engage directly with a senior-level executive, known as an advocate, from their organization. Advocates are selected from outside the participant’s direct reporting relationship to help expand her network, provide corporate insights and professional guidance, and act as a partner for organizational change.
The advocate/participant relationship is a once-in-a-career opportunity to be vulnerable and “ask” for help and guidance in your personal development. A strong advocate can help reinforce the program learnings, as well as provide guidance on how the participant can identify barriers and develop a plan to break through them to continue to grow within her organization.
